OUR FOUNDER
Greg Todd is a successful physical therapist, serial entrepreneur and coach with a flair for inspiring others. After five years of working on the WTA tour with pro tennis players, burnout hit. When his boss said “NO” to him taking time off, he was forced into entrepreneurship. He launched 3 businesses, and the only one that succeeded was his own PT practice. One practice turned into three which combined have generated $30M in revenue to date.
In 2009, Greg launched Smart Success Healthcare, a coaching and consulting company that’s been responsible for training 1000s of healthcare professionals (PTs, OTs, Dietitians, FitPros and 15 more specialties) to successfully start and scale online businesses.
Greg’s goal is to transform the lives of 10,000 healthcare providers, freeing them from burnout and financial constraints so they can positively impact healthcare and enjoy a fulfilling life and career.
Greg is the founder and host of multiple podcasts like The Hunt for Greatness, Wealth Code Secrets, and most recently, Secrets for Success.

My dream became my nightmare
I became a physical therapist 20+ years ago so I would have financial stability in my life. I saw my Dad experience the highs and lows of having a business and wanted the exact opposite of that. 4 years into being a physical therapist working in the traditional 9-5, I realized that my dream of being a PT became my nightmare. I was trading all my time for a little bit of money, and treating clients the way my boss and higher ups wanted me to.
Going out on my own
I decided to start my own business so I could achieve freedom. I borrowed $100k+ against my home and teamed up with my business partner with Renewal Rehab. I got freedom (but only clinically). I was still trading my time for money and was happier but still working 70+hours/week. Things only got more complicated as my family grew from 1-4 kids.
Building a business and not a job
I realized that my credentials and years of experience wouldn’t get me home more with my kids and wife. So I had to learn the business. How to grow a real business. I realized that the key was to leverage everything I could. Leverage marketing, sales, people, and my offers. I had to learn different skills in order to accomplish this. In the process of learning this, I was able to build high-profit clinics that brought us over 50k+ profits/month.
Sharing the knowledge
My staff encouraged me to show other clinicians how to do what I did. Own a traditional business, become a consultant, and provide healthcare value in a non-traditional (online) way. I was one of the very few that had achieved success in all of these areas and decided to start mentoring therapists on how to do the same for themselves.
Creating a healthcare movement
Over the past 7 years, we’ve moved from only helping physical therapists to now helping over 2,000 healthcare professionals (in 19 different types of healthcare profession types) build a leveraged business using our solutions-based model and our leveraged systems in marketing, sales, and service. This has allowed healthcare professionals to escape the time for money trap and create lifestyle businesses.
