Good morning, my friends! Happy Friday.
Let me take a second to encourage you today.
Whatever you’re going through right now—whether it’s a high or a low—it’s just a season.
Read that again.
Seasons change. They always do. That’s the only constant in life.
I was thinking about this today as I walked on the beach. You see, on September 28, 2024, this place was unrecognizable. Hurricane Ian had just torn through, and everything was wrecked. Bridges? Gone. Homes? Destroyed. My entire neighborhood looked like a war zone.
And in that moment, standing in the middle of all that devastation, it felt like things would never be the same.
And I was right—nothing ever goes back to exactly the way it was.
But today? That same beach is thriving. People are out enjoying the waves, families are making memories, and life has moved forward.
That disaster was just a season. It felt permanent, but it wasn’t.
I don’t know what you’re going through. Maybe your business is struggling, maybe your career feels stuck, or maybe life has just hit you with a challenge you didn’t see coming.
Whatever it is—hear me on this—it won’t last forever.
Yes, it’s real. Yes, it’s hard. I’m not here to dismiss it.
But you know what? Neither the highs nor the lows last forever. If you’re struggling, hold on. If you’re thriving, stay humble.
Because every season changes.
Tomorrow, my youngest daughter turns 16. And you know what’s crazy? I still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday.
I was at my clinic treating patients when my wife called me and said, “I think my water just broke.”
And what does she do next? Drives herself to McDonald’s for a Big Mac. 😂
(Which, by the way, made her blood pressure spike in labor—so don’t try that at home, folks.)
But just like that, what felt like a never-ending season of building my career, raising babies, and trying to balance it all has shifted into a new chapter.
Seasons change.
So if today feels overwhelming, if it feels like this struggle will never end—just remember:
👉 It’s a season, not a life sentence.
👉 It will pass.
👉 And when you come out on the other side, you’ll see growth you never expected.
Stay strong, my friend. Your next season is coming.
Much Love,
GT
