He Charges $10K for What You’re Giving Away at $297. Here’s What He Does Differently.

I just got back from Day 1 of the Level Up Conference in Dallas, and I need to share something with you that’s been stuck in my head since the moment I heard it.

One of the speakers was a guy named Michael Reamer. He runs a yacht business in South Florida (so you already know his clientele isn't buying off Craigslist). But what really blew my mind is what he said next…

He gave his company away.

Just gave it to his employees.

Why? Because he found a higher-leverage opportunity. He built a Go High Level SaaS agency that was making him so much money, with so much less time and stress, that he literally handed over the keys to the yacht biz and said, “Here — you run it.”

And now, he charges clients $10,000 up front and $3,000 per month for services that — I kid you not — are nearly identical to what many of you are doing right now for $297/month.

Let that sit for a second.

It’s Not That You’re Not Good Enough.

You’re just not charging what you’re worth — because you’re solving the wrong problem for the wrong people.

When I asked Michael why his model works, he said something that smacked me in the face:

“I only solve problems that are expensive to have.”

He finds people who have big problems. Then he makes those problems go away. And for them, that’s worth $10K, no hesitation.

And it made me think of y’all — the healthcare professionals, the coaches, the clinic owners, the ones charging $297 or $497 a month while delivering MASSIVE value.

Let’s keep it real…

You’re doing the same systems setup.
You’re doing the same automations.
You’re doing the same client onboarding.
You’re offering the same — if not better — support.

But the person you’re serving is comparing your service to a $49 course or a VA on Fiverr.

That’s not a you problem. That’s a market problem.

People Pay Big Money for Problems They Take Seriously

Look, I’m not paying $1,000 for designer clothes. You’ll catch me in a Goodwill tee or maybe Ross if I’m feeling bougie. 🛒

But tech? Business software? Systems that grow my revenue while I sleep? Take my money.

Every person has things they’ll pay a little for — and things they’ll pay a LOT for.

Your job as a business owner is to position yourself in front of people who pay big for the problem you solve.

Your Pricing Is a Reflection of Your Audience’s Perceived Value — Not Your Actual Value

There are people RIGHT NOW who will pay you $5K or $10K or more for your skills — if you solve the right problem for them.

One of my newest clients has a multi-seven-figure business. I knew I could help her add another $500K to $1M with some of the same exact strategies we teach inside Platinum.

But instead of offering her Platinum, I offered a custom package that was double the price.

You know what she said?

“Cool. Let me move some money around and I’ll send the wire.”

No objections. No hemming and hawing. She saw the value immediately because the problem was big enough.

Don’t Get Stuck In Your Price Tag

If you’re charging $297, $497, even $997 — I’m not saying stop.

But don’t get so attached to your price tag that you forget the real opportunity…

It’s not about “raising your prices.” It’s about serving a different person with a different problem that’s worth more to solve.

That’s the real game.

That’s how you scale — not by adding more hours, not by pushing harder, but by thinking differently about who you're helping and what your time is actually worth to them.

Final Thought: You Can’t Be the Bottleneck

Michael was able to give his business away because he didn’t need it anymore.

Think about that.

You want to build wealth? Create options.

You want to change people’s lives? Get paid enough that you can pour back into your team.

You want to lead? Build the kind of opportunity that you could one day give away and still be good.

That’s what this game is about.

Not hustle.
Not burnout.
Not “seeing one more patient.”

It’s about building real leverage and solving bigger problems for the people who will pay big to solve them.

Much love,
Greg Todd
