Good morning, my friend.
If your life’s feeling a little chaotic lately — if your schedule is packed, your energy is drained, and you’re questioning how the heck you got here — just know this:
You are not broken.
You’re probably just on the wrong train.
The Hot Mess Express. And today, I’m giving you the 4-step plan to get OFF that thing and head toward the life you actually want.
This is what I used to go from making 20 cents an hour to owning multiple businesses, mentoring thousands of healthcare professionals, and waking up every day knowing I’m in control of my time and income.
Let’s break it down.
You can’t fix what you don’t even know is broken.
Back when I was 14 working for peanuts, I didn’t even realize I had options. Nobody around me was talking about building online businesses or getting paid for results. I thought the only way to earn more was to work harder.
Sound familiar?
Most of the healthcare professionals I work with are stuck in that same trap. They’ve got degrees, they’re crazy smart, and yet they’re still on the hamster wheel — stuck trading time for money and barely getting ahead.
Awareness is about waking up.
It’s when you stop pretending it’s “just part of the job” and start admitting:
“This isn’t working for me anymore.”
Once you’re aware, you’ve got a choice to make.
Are you just gonna keep complaining about it?
Or are you ready to do something intentional?
This is where you start asking:
“What do I want instead?”
“Who can help me?”
“What skills or systems am I missing?”
I remember when I realized I was 15 pounds heavier than I wanted to be. Headaches. Sluggish. It wasn’t enough to notice it. I had to set the intention to change it — and actually start researching the right solution, community, and accountability to follow through.
Same goes for your business. Intention means you’re getting clear on your next move, not just hoping things magically improve.
Now this is where most people tap out.
They “choose” something… but they don’t decide.
Choosing says, “I’ll try this out and see what happens.”
Deciding says, “I’m in. No turning back.”
My mentor Myron Golden taught me this:
The Latin root of “decide” means to cut off. As in: cut off all other options.
Most healthcare pros I talk to are still halfway in and halfway out. They say they want financial freedom… but they keep chasing more CEUs, more clients, more certifications.
Nah. That ain’t it.
If you want to change your life, you’ve got to make a decision. And then comes the hard part…
Awareness gets you started.
Intention sets your course.
Decision locks it in.
But discipline?
That’s the engine.
That’s what keeps you showing up even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when it’s boring.
Even when nobody’s clapping for you yet.
People ask me all the time:
“Greg, how do you stay so disciplined?”
I’ll tell you how.
Because I decided that my mission — helping healthcare pros win back their time, income, and joy — is more important than my feelings.
Because I’m tired of watching talented people burn out while trying to serve others.
Because I know what’s on the other side of discipline is freedom.
If you’re stuck on the Hot Mess Express right now, here’s your way off:
Wake up to the real problem.
Set the intention to do something about it.
Decide that you’re done messing around.
Discipline your way to the life you were actually made for.
And if you want help making that shift?
You already know where to find me.
We help healthcare pros like you create online income streams, build real businesses, and finally get out of survival mode — for good.
Much Love,
Greg Todd
