How My Squat Became a Business Lesson in Disguise

I wanna share a personal win with you. It’s not flashy. No record was broken. No big trophy was handed out. But it’s a BIG deal to me — and I think there’s a massive lesson in it for you too.

So here’s the deal…

I’ve been going to F45 for a while now. At first, it was two days a week. I’d get in, get out, and check the box. But somewhere along the way, I decided to stop playing small. I went unlimited. And I started pushing myself in new ways.

Here’s what I noticed…

My right knee couldn’t bend past 95 degrees. I’ve had pain for years — sports, running, you name it. Squats? Forget it. Lunges? Nah. Every time I got close to a full range squat, pain would flare up in my knee like, “Bruh, what are you doing?”

So what did I do?

I avoided it. I made jokes. Told my team I had a “trick knee.” Told myself, “I’ll just do other stuff.”

But here’s what changed:
I made a decision.

I said, “I’m not gonna avoid this anymore. I’m not gonna jam through it either. But I am going to create resistance right at the edge of my comfort zone — and I’m gonna stay there.”

And I did.
Not for a day.
Not for four workouts.
But for months.

Little by little, that 95-degree squat turned into a 100. Then 110. This morning, I squatted deeper than I have in years.

Still a little discomfort? Yeah.
But my body is changing.
And more importantly — my mindset already has.

So why am I telling you this?

Because YOU have a “knee.”
