If You're Still Charging a 2026 Client Like It's 2016, You're the Problem

“Don’t make your clients pay extra because you choose not to evolve.”

That’s the quote for 2026.
Tattoo it on your brain.
Because this one truth could be the difference between growing a thriving business this year…
…or slowly watching your audience disappear.

Let me tell you where I first heard it.

The Story That Hit Me Between the Eyes

A few months ago, Andy Frisella shared a story inside the Arte Syndicate — a group I’m part of with him and Ed Mylett.

Andy was hiring a developer to build a new app for one of his programs. Dude quoted him something like 3 months, tens of thousands of dollars. Andy paid half up front and then... crickets.

No updates. No progress.

Halfway through the project, Andy asks for a status check, and the guy says he needs two more months. It’s gonna be a “massive job.”

So what does Andy do?

He opens ChatGPT.

Tells it what he wants the app to do…

BOOM — full code. Done.

Andy screenshots the code and sends it to the dude.

Guy calls back immediately: “Uhhh, I’ll have it done in 2 days.”

2 days.

What changed?

Nothing… except the pressure to evolve.

The Real Lesson Here (And It Ain’t About Coding)

Andy didn’t expose this guy because he’s a bad coder.

He exposed him because he’s an inefficient one.

And when you refuse to evolve, you end up doing the same thing a lot of health professionals are doing today…

Charging their clients an inefficiency tax.

Longer time. Slower results. Higher prices.
Not because the service is elite — but because the business hasn’t evolved.

That’s what’s gotta stop in 2026.

Your Inefficiencies Are Costing Everyone

Let me give you a few real examples — from my own business:
