Good morning, Success Community!
You ever notice how everyone wants to show up for their patients, clients, or team… but few people actually take the time to show up for themselves first?
That used to be me. I’d roll right into meetings or sessions and wonder why my energy wasn’t there yet. I wasn’t fired up — I was just… existing. Then it hit me: you can’t pour into others from an empty tank.
That’s why every week — especially Mondays — starts with me taking care of me.
When I’m in Orlando, I hit up F45 at 6:40 AM. After that? Straight to the Sweat House for a recovery session.
If I’m in Clearwater, it’s the same concept — different location. I move first, always.
Because here’s what I’ve realized:
When I move my body, my brain turns on.
When I sweat, the ideas start flowing.
When I push myself early, the rest of the day feels easy.
I’m like an old Chevy my mom used to drive — that thing wouldn’t start until she turned the key three or four times. But once it got going? It moved.
We’re all like that Chevy. You’ve gotta warm up the engine before you hit the road.
Some mornings, I don’t even put on a podcast. I just spend time with my thoughts — asking God,
“Where do You want to direct me this week? What challenges should I prepare for?”
That time gives me peace and focus before the chaos begins.
Because truth is, success isn’t just about strategy — it’s about stewardship. Taking care of the gift God gave you so you can use it to bless others.
The narrative of sacrificing family time and well-being for business success is often glorified. However, Josh and Ashley present a different aspect, emphasizing that clear communication and setting expectations according to the various seasons of business are vital. Their story is a profound reminder of integrating family and work, not as separate entities but as complementary components of their lives.
Greg Todd highlights the pivotal role of shared vision and effective communication in alleviating marital strains when he decided to start his clinic. Leaving behind long hours at work to build something of his own allowed him more quality family time, which translated into a healthier family dynamic.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May He give you peace.
If you do one thing this week, make it this: move your body, clear your mind, and fill your cup first.
Because the world doesn’t need a burnt-out version of you — it needs your full, fired-up, purpose-driven self.
Let’s crush this week together.
Much Love,
Greg Todd
