Hello everyone! This one is for all of you who are facing a storm right now—whether you’re going through it, just coming out of it, or about to enter one. Life's like that, isn't it? One storm after another. Today, I want to talk about what we do after the storm hits, when it’s time to pick up the pieces.
You see, social media is full of people showing off their wins. "$10,000 months!" "$50,000 launches!" "Six figures in 90 days!" But nobody talks about the mess that happens when things fall apart. Trust me, they fall apart for all of us. I’m one of those people who talks about the good and the bad. No hiding here—just the real.
I just came back from Georgia after being evacuated, and when I got home to Florida, reality hit me hard. Our main home on Indian Rocks Beach? The roof? A good chunk of it is gone. Not to mention the water damage we found in our other place. So, what do you do in situations like this? How do you pick up the pieces when your world feels like it's crumbling?
The first thing I do when I feel like things are falling apart is remind myself why I’m here in the first place. I’m not ready to give up. I’m anchored to my reasons for wanting to stay on the beach. Yesterday, after seeing the damage, I saw the most beautiful post-sunset glow while driving. It reminded me why I love this place. That beauty—that’s my anchor.
We all face storms. Some are bigger than others, but no one is immune. It’s how we handle the aftermath that defines us. So when you’re picking up the pieces, remember your “why.” Take action, process fast, and move forward. You’ll get through it, just like I will.
