In 2003, I thought the only way to make more money was to climb the ladder.
So I did what most healthcare professionals do.
I moved into management.
Took a few lateral moves.
Added a tiny bump to my paycheck.
But the truth?
It didn’t solve anything.
I was still stressed. Still broke. Still trapped.
Back then, I thought I needed more letters after my name to earn more.
A PA, a doctorate, maybe even a side gig in case management.
But none of that would’ve solved the real problem:
I didn’t know how to create offers.
Let me say something bold:
If you’re a healthcare professional right now — PT, OT, dietitian, whatever —
and you’re not making the money you want…
…it’s probably NOT because you need another degree.
It’s because you don’t know how to craft a compelling offer.
You’re selling your time — not a transformation.
And that right there is what’s keeping you broke and burned out.
Here’s what I learned: every good offer has five key ingredients.
Miss one of them? Your income stays capped.
People don’t want your service — they want the result.
And guess what? Most of y’all are making yourselves the result.
“Buy my time.”
“Book with me.”
“I’ll help you.”
You can’t scale that.
You’re limited to the hours you’re awake.
Instead, ask yourself: What result are they buying?
Is it pain relief? Better energy? Getting back to the gym?
Focus there.
Nobody wants to make a bad decision with their money.
Give them a safety net.
It doesn’t always mean a refund.
Sometimes it’s: “If you don’t get the result, I’ll keep working with you until you do.”
It tells your audience:
“You’ve got nothing to lose — and everything to gain.”
No urgency = no action.
Add scarcity. A deadline. A cohort.
Tell them why they need to move NOW instead of “thinking about it.”
People delay decisions because there’s no real pressure not to.
Change that.
The price must match the result.
That’s it.
If the result is worth $5,000, stop charging $500.
Stop apologizing for pricing your expertise.
This is where you stack the value.
Give them something that makes the whole offer feel like a no-brainer.
Something that feels like, “Dang, that bonus alone is worth the price.”
Could be extra access. Could be a workbook. Could be an insider resource.
Here’s the brutal truth:
If your current offer requires you to be in the room, you’re stuck.
You’re not building a business.
You’re just creating a job with slightly more stress and slightly less flexibility.
But when you build an offer that delivers a transformation — and that transformation isn’t tied to your presence — you unlock scale.
You can help 75 people at once.
You can make $20K, $50K, $100K more — without adding a single letter to your name.
Look, I’m not saying credentials are useless.
But most of you don’t need more education.
You need execution. You need strategy. You need a high-value offer.
So here’s my challenge to you:
Stop making yourself the product.
Start selling solutions.
That’s how you get paid for your expertise.
That’s how you scale.
That’s how you finally stop trading time for money.
