A few years ago, I could shoot a couple of videos, toss up a webinar, maybe run a quick challenge—and boom, the sales came in.
That was 2019.
Fast-forward to 2025? Whole different game.
What used to work doesn’t work the same anymore. And if you’ve been wondering why your audience has gone silent… why no one’s jumping on your “limited-time” offer… or why your DMs feel like a ghost town…
It’s not you. But it is your strategy.
Let me explain.
Back then, people had more money to throw around. Fewer choices. Less noise. If you were helpful and visible, people moved quick.
Today? Not so much.
Prices are higher. There’s more competition in every market. And your audience is more skeptical. They’re not buying just because you put something in front of them.
They’re asking questions:
“Do I really need this right now?”
“Is this gonna actually help me?”
“Why is this worth spending my money on today?”
And if your marketing doesn’t answer those questions… you’re toast.
This is what I teach my clients in Smart Success Healthcare—and it’s what most business owners ignore:
There’s the external economy (inflation, politics, interest rates, etc.).
And then there’s your internal economy—your mindset, your offers, your positioning, your content, your skills.
You don’t control the external economy.
But your internal economy? 100% within your power.
So if people aren’t buying, it’s not always because they’re broke.
It’s because you haven’t made them desire what you’re offering.
Yesterday I was talking to Amber—one of my team members. She’s getting married soon and planning her honeymoon.
She told me, “There are some things I’ll go cheap on. But for food and experiences? I’ll spend whatever.”
That’s how buyers are thinking right now.
They’re still spending money. But only on what they really want.
Your job is to make sure your offer is one of those things.
People will only buy if they:
Discover you exist
Desire what you have
Trust you can deliver
That means marketing isn’t just “posting on social” or “running a challenge.”
Marketing is:
Creating content that positions your offer as the solution they’ve been searching for
Educating them before they ever reach your sales page
And stacking so much value that buying from you feels like a no-brainer
That’s why I’ve got clients writing books this week.
Not because they want to be authors.
But because they understand something you might be missing…
The more steps you take to help someone discover and desire what you do — the more clients you get.
If you’re frustrated that people aren’t buying like they used to…
If your old offers are flopping…
If you feel like you’re doing “all the things” but nothing’s landing…
You’re not broken.
You’re just not marketing like it’s 2025.
And you’ve got 2 options:
Option 1: Complain about how things used to be.
Option 2: Step your game up and adjust to the new rules.
Write a book.
Create daily content.
Get on camera.
Educate your market.
Learn how to make people want what you’re offering.
That’s how you win now.
I’ll say it again:
The money’s still flowing.
People are still buying.
You just have to work a little smarter to earn it.
And if you need help figuring out what that next step looks like—whether it’s writing a book, building out a new offer, or just getting people to want what you sell again…
Book a call.
Let’s work on your internal economy—because that’s what changes your life.
Much Love,
